It feels like the Cleveland Cavaliers don’t have a single weak link in their lineup, with multiple stars doing great things and having banner years in 2024-25.
But special attention has to be paid to Jarrett Allen, who has been sensational since the very first game of the season.
He was at it again on Thursday night during the team’s 110-97 win over the Brooklyn Nets.
As noted by Cavs Notes on X, Allen had 16 points and 20 rebounds in the game.
Those 20 rebounds are a season-high and cause for celebration among Cavaliers fans.

At this point, none of this should be surprising.
Allen has become a double-double machine this year, averaging 13.7 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.
He is shooting a wild 70.4 percent from the field and is a crucial part of just about every possession.
Allen’s numbers have dipped in some ways since last season, when he was producing 16.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.
But he is playing with more confidence and foresight and seems to be reading his opponents much better.
And as mentioned, he is only one part of this powerful roster.
Allen has created a strong working relationship with Evan Mobley and they have gifted the Cavaliers with one of the best frontcourts in the league.
Of course, Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, De’Andre Hunter, and others have also been contributing a lot.
The Cavaliers are about to face several tough opponents in the days ahead and they want to prove they can beat the best teams in the league.
Seeing Allen score a season-high total in rebounds is a very good sign and suggests things could be getting even better for the Cavs.
