Perspective usually makes us lose track of how big NBA players actually are.
Ja Morant is taller than the average person, yet he looks tiny next to Jarrett Allen.
That was the case when the latter put him on a huge poster during Sunday night’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Once again, the Cleveland Cavaliers’ strong big man game between Evan Mobley and Allen paid off, with Mobley finding his teammate cutting towards the rim.
As shown by SportsCenter on X, Morant tried to contest the shot, but it was already a little too late, and he was most definitely too small to even bother Allen.

In the end, Morant couldn’t help but laugh at his attempt to block the shot.
Jarrett Allen played a big role in the team’s 47th win of the regular season.
He was questionable to play after sustaining a finger injury in the win over the New York Knicks, but he didn’t show any signs of discomfort.
Allen finished the game with 13 points on eight shots, adding ten rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
The Cavaliers weathered the storm and overcame Darius Garland’s absence to beat a very good Grizzlies team 129-123, once again proving to be a deep team with many resources.
Kenny Atkinson’s team is on pace to win 60+ games this season, and if they continue to go down this road, they’ll finish the campaign with a better record than any team from the LeBron James era.
