The Cleveland Cavaliers had one of their best games of the season.
Even with Donovan Mitchell struggling from the field, Kenny Atkinson’s team managed to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The atmosphere felt like a playoff game, with fans cheering after nearly every basket and defensive stop.
With that in mind, big man Jarrett Allen took to X to tip his hat to the Cavs’ faithful, calling them the best fans in the league (via Cavs).

This game clearly meant more for the Cavaliers.
They knew they weren’t getting enough praise and respect despite having the best record in the league for most of the season, and they needed to make the most of the opportunity to put the league on notice in a nationally televised game.
More than that, it was a matchup between the two best teams in the Association, one from each conference, so it could have been a preview of the NBA Finals.
While the league might not want that, the fans who tuned in would certainly appreciate that.
Both teams play hard and the right way.
They share the ball, get stops, and put their bodies on the line on every single possession.
It was encouraging to watch the Cavaliers win this game despite their best player struggling mightily from the field.
They remain undefeated against the Western Conference, and the fans have plenty of reasons to feel excited about this team.
