It hasn’t been an easy season so far for the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are currently the eighth team in the East with an 11-9 record.
They are hoping to be one of the best teams in their conference, which means they need to create some strong, consistent, back-to-back wins.
They will try to do that in the days ahead but it won’t be easy because the Cavaliers are about to experience a challenging series of games.
They will face the Orlando Magic twice, as well as the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics twice in the week ahead.
Speaking to Chris Fedor, Cavaliers player Isaac Okoro talked about what’s ahead for Cleveland.
“We have to show people that we are one of the contenders in the East or in the league. These games coming up — Orlando, Miami and Boston — some of the top teams in the East right now, so beating them would be huge for us.”

Okoro is right when he says that beating these teams would be huge; it would not only help their record but it would also prove that they can compete with the best of the best.
It could completely change the narrative around the team and generate even more inspiration in the locker room.
The Eastern Conference hasn’t been this difficult in years, with teams like the Celtics, Magic, Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, and others dominating.
The Cavaliers wish to be ranked alongside those teams but it won’t be easy.
They have climbed up to the eighth seed, right behind the Heat, which is impressive but not enough for the team.
If they were to beat the Heat, Magic, or Celtics, they would feel more confident moving into the rest of the season.
This could be a very inspiring, or very disappointing, string of games for the Cavaliers.
