The Cleveland Cavaliers have been among the most discussed teams in the NBA all season.
They’ve been a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference, leading the pack by a healthy margin, and people continue to be impressed by how well the team has played to this point.
It’s safe to say that they’ve beaten all expectations, and are hoping to achieve even more than they already have moving forward into the offseason.
While a lot of the discourse surrounding the Cavaliers has been positive, not everything is sunshine and rainbows for people affiliated with the organization.
Iman Shumpert recently finalized his divorce, according to “FearBuck” on X, handing over $10 million in real-estate assets, an undisclosed seven-figure sum, and several other assets.

Shumpert was a strong player for the Cavaliers when he was with the organization, and was generally well-liked among the fanbase.
This situation puts a bit of a damper on the Cavaliers’ record up to this point in the year, seeing how closely related Shumpert is to a lot of the people still on the team.
Cavaliers fans are rooting for him during this difficult time, hoping things turn around quickly for him in his personal life.
A divorce of this magnitude tends to attract a lot of media attention, but Shumpert and his ex-wife have handled it all peacefully to this point.
That could change at any time, but for now, the situation hasn’t blown up in anyone’s face, a positive sign for both parties.
