The Cleveland Cavaliers suffered their first loss of the season.
But just like all great teams do, they licked their wounds, got back on their feet, and took care of business.
They bounced back right away by taking the New Orleans Pelicans down.
They dominated from start to finish.
Even without Darius Garland, they ran away with a 128-100 win over the injury-riddled Pelicans.
Back in the Win column. 😄 #LetEmKnow

Yeah the Pelicans were thin but it was still a nice win. It was great to see our young guys like Tyson and Thor play well. And who can resist the Ty Jerome show? That guy is for real!

Ty Jerome for Most improved Player of the year or sixth man of the year book that bet now.

Granted, the Pelicans aren’t a barometer to determine where this team stands right now.
Then again, you can only beat whoever is in front of you, and good teams are supposed to win and dominate struggling teams.
The Cavaliers had two unlikely heroes in Ty Jerome, who scored a career-best 29 points, and rookie Jaylon Tyson, who almost recorded a triple-double in his first career start.
This team keeps finding ways to win games, and everybody has bought in on what Kenny Atkinson wants to do.
They no longer need Donovan Mitchell to do all the heavy lifting.
On offense, the ball is constantly finding the open man, and on defense, everybody is playing hard and doing their job.
It’s still early in the season, but we’re 17 games in, and the Cavaliers have only lost one game.
There’s no way to think of a team like that as a fluke, especially after their only loss was on the road against the defending champions, and they still lost by just three points.
