This season hasn’t gone smoothly but the Cleveland Cavaliers have remained competitive despite that.
In fact, they are doing better than many people, including some devoted fans, expected.
Cavaliers writer and podcast host Mack Perry posted a picture of the current Eastern Conference standings with a couple of eye emojis, seemingly shocked but excited by the fact that the Cavaliers are the fourth-best team in the conference.
Fans of the team came out to share their opinions about Cleveland hanging toward the top of the East, despite a ton of injuries and bad luck.

While many people were elated to see the Cavaliers doing so well, some are afraid they don’t have what it takes, especially in the playoffs.
“I can’t be fooled again. I’m happy they made it to #4 but in a 7 game series I don’t think I’ve seen enough for the to beat any of the top 7 teams and Orlando won’t be an easy out,” one fans said.
The memories of the last postseason loom large.

Others noted that the team is about to face one of the toughest stretches of the season.
Sure enough, they are about to battle the Milwaukee Bucks three times, the Orlando Magic, and the Los Angeles Clippers in the next couple of weeks.
Tough stretch of games coming up but I believe in this team!

Those Bucks games are drawing a lot of interest from fans.
They first face Giannis Antetokounmpo and his squad on Wednesday and then they will battle against the team twice more, on January 24 and 26.
Winning those games could hurt one of the best teams in the conference and also improve Cleveland’s standing.
Need to win these next games against the bucks

Others are looking forward with optimism, envisioning a future where the team does well this week and Darius Garland returns shortly thereafter.
That could really put the team in a good position moving forward.
Go 2-1 or better this week, get DG back… we'll be cooking.

There have been awful injuries, sloppy mistakes, and just general bad luck throughout the season, but the Cavaliers are still playing well and paving a path to the postseason.
Can they keep it up in the weeks ahead?
