Win the game if you don’t have an abysmal first half. Can’t have pathetic first half’s against the top teams in the NBA and just expect to claw back and win.

The Boston Celtics just showed the Cavs who the East belongs to. They are 2-1 and the only reason why the Cavs won a game is the Celtics were missing JB and D-White and only won by 4. The Celtics are easily the best team in the East. Everyone in the East knows this.

The first half wasn’t pretty at all, but Kenny Atkinson’s team responded and even made it yet another close game down the stretch.
They completely shut down Jaylen Brown in the final two quarters, holding him scoreless and even getting him off the court late in the game after he scored 16 points in the first half.
Jarrett Allen was also a bright spot on both sides of the glass.
Donovan Mitchell, however, had a decent performance, but it wasn’t enough to get the win against the Celtics.
The Cavaliers have struggled against big and athletic wings all year, and perhaps that is the only flaw on this roster.
Of course, it’s not time to sound the alarms.
There’s no shame in losing to the defending NBA champions, and the Celtics hold the best road record in the league.
Nevertheless, if they want to be the last team standing in the Eastern Conference, they will most definitely have to find a way to counter their size.
The trade deadline is just hours away, and the Cavs don’t have that many assets to move and find someone to solve their woes.
After watching that game, however, the front office might feel tempted to make a move.
