Life hasn’t been easy for the Cleveland Cavaliers lately but multiple players on the team have stepped up when their squad has needed them most.
Jarrett Allen is one of those players and he has had a very strong run of games lately.
As noted by Hoop Central, Allen has averaged 21.2 points, 16.4 rebounds, and 6 assists on a 65% field goal percentage over the last five games.
Partly because of Allen, the team has won three of their last five.

Fans of the Cavaliers were ready to salute Allen on Thursday morning after Hoop Central reported those statistics.
Many came out to say that Allen should again be an NBA All-Star.
He earned his first All-Star selection back in 2021-22 but has yet to return to the big game.
ALL STAR.

Other people claimed that Allen is showing he’s better than the league’s reigning MVP, Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers.
That is definitely up for debate but Allen is truly shining bright lately.
Better than Embiid

There were quite a few fans, however, who pointed out that Allen is doing his best without the team’s other big man, Evan Mobley.
According to some, they cannot play together and achieve their best and work best individually.
Unfortunately all this shows is that Evan Mobley and Jarret Allen cannot co exist and be their best selves. But individually they can both be all stars.

Others are glad to see how well Allen is doing but they also know that none of this matters if the team falls apart in the postseason again.
Can Allen keep this up all season and into the playoffs?
If the lights are too bright when it matters. None of this matters

The Cavaliers just had a monster win over the Washington Wizards, beating that team 140-101 on Wednesday night.
Luckily for them, they face the same team on Friday.
During Wednesday’s game, Allen scored 17 points and 19 rebounds.
What will he do in the next game?
