Given all of the energy and hard work Evan Mobley put into his rookie season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, you would think that maybe he’d enjoy some downtime during his summer break.
But he is the sort of player who lives for basketball and he never takes a day off from playing – or just being a fan.

Mobley was spotted courtside during Thursday night’s NBA Summer League games.
It’ll still be a few months before we see Mobley playing with his team again but until then everyone can celebrate the season he had – and the promises of what’s to come.
Mobley Moving Forward
In his opening season with the NBA, he averaged 15 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.
He had a spectacular rookie year and gave Cavs fans a whole lot to be excited about.
But it wasn’t just Mobley that stood out on this Cleveland squad: the team is full of great, young, up-and-coming athletes.
They’ll (probably) be back next year with the singular goal of getting better, getting stronger, getting more competitive in the East.
Mobley will be a central piece of that – and so will someone incredibly close to him: his brother.
Isaiah Mobley was recently selected by the Cavaliers in the NBA Draft, meaning that the Mobley brothers might be playing alongside one another.
Imagine what that could do for team morale.
The Mobleys played together before when they were part of the legendary USC team that took down Gonzaga.
Will they be able to work their magic for the Cavs?
Last season, the Cavaliers barely missed the NBA play-in tournament and that’s something they certainly want to avoid again.
Mobley is studying the Summer League and keeping his head in the game in order to push his team forward.
