We have only seen one season with Evan Mobley playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers but what a season it was.
During his rookie year with the Cavs, Mobley put up 15 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists a game.
He’s certainly young and sometimes rough around the edges but there is a good chance that Mobley could be one of the best big guys in the league someday.
Which player is going to have a breakout season? 👀

In fact, Bleacher Report listed Mobley as one of the young players who could possibly have a breakout season next year.
Along with Mobley, B/R also suggested that Cade Cunningham of the Detroit Pistons, Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and Tyrese Haliburton of the Indiana Pacers could also be the ones to experience a huge, blockbuster year.
There are many promising youthful guys in the league but Mobley is definitely one of the very best.
An Even Better Evan
Mobley was the third overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft and Cleveland fans immediately expected a lot from the former USC student.
His size is particularly attractive: he comes in at seven-feet tall and is still slim and slender but also physically strong.
He has been playing as a power forward for most of his time in Cleveland but he can stretch and also efficiently perform as a center too.
The guy has versatility and skill on both ends of the court.
Mobley is part of a very promising squad but he’s constantly mentioned as the guy who might end up being the very best.
He has a lot to prove in his second season but most people agree that very remarkable things really are possible from Mobley.
