Evan Mobley of the Cleveland Cavaliers knows what his team needs to do in order to avoid more losses like the tough one they experienced on Wednesday night.
He told Bally Sports Cleveland that the Cavaliers need to “keep getting better” as the season progresses.
In reference to Wednesday’s defeat at the hands of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Mobley said Cleveland has to learn how to “punch back like a boxing match.”
“We’ve got to fight back and hold our ground,” he said.

The big man admitted that the Thunder were “locked in” all night long and said that his team needs to combat that by being just as committed throughout the game.
And when it comes to defense, he said they need to “not let them get in our paint.”
That task will rely on Mobley, of course, who is a crucial part of the team’s defensive plans.
In the weeks and months ahead, Mobley will have to do better than he did on Wednesday night.
Although he scored 22 points for his team, he only had 3 defensive rebounds.
That is one of the areas that Mobley and the rest of the team will need to improve on if they wish to bounce back from their loss against the Thunder.
With a 3-5 record and a few surprising and painful defeats under their belt, the Cavaliers are looking to turn a page and really find their footing.
Following three tough losses in a row, the team has looked a bit better lately and has racked up a couple of impressive wins.
But Wednesday night reminded them that there is still plenty of room for improvement.
