Dejounte Murray left Atlanta Hawks fans speechless on Friday night with a stunning game-winning buzzer beater.
Murray’s deep three over the Miami Heat was perhaps the biggest highlight of the evening across the NBA and a ton of people celebrated the star player afterward.
One person praising Murray was Emoni Bates of the Cleveland Cavaliers, who hopped on Twitter to repost a video of the shot while saying, “Stop playing wit twin man.”

Bates and Murray have created and maintained a strong friendship since Bates joined the league last summer.
In fact, a couple of months ago, Murray was courtside for a G League game featuring Bates.
The two players have supported each other often through social media, referring to one another as brothers and constantly hyping each other up.
Therefore, it’s not shocking to see Bates so excited to see Murray do so well on Friday night.
As for Bates, he remains in the G League with the Cleveland Charge.
He has had multiple big games that have gained a lot of attention, but he hasn’t returned to the Cavaliers since the end of December.
Considering the fact that he didn’t score a point in his last Cavaliers game and the fact that the team hasn’t called on him during its recent stretch of injuries, some people assume that Bates won’t be back in the NBA this season.
His average during his rookie year is currently 1.8 points and 1 rebound during ten games.
He has done well in the G League but his time with the Cavaliers hasn’t been as productive.
Yet there is still a chance that Bates will enhance his skills and earn a spot with the Cavaliers by the end of this season or beyond.
Until then, he’ll be closely watching games and his favorite players, like Murray.
