The Cleveland Cavaliers are still hurting from their surprising, disappointing loss to the San Antonio Spurs the other night.
Few people thought the Cavs were going to lose that game, especially since it was to one of the weakest opponents in the NBA.
But the Cavs were not on their game and were not playing like themselves, leading to a lacking 112-112 defeat.

Sure, the game was a huge bummer for fans but there were still moments of greatness.
Take Donovan Mitchell, for example: Mitchell was good for 28 points, leading his team yet again.
And he wasn’t just taking jump shots and perimeter buckets, either.
In fact, one of the best moments of the night was when Mitchell caught air and dunked over the Spurs.
This is something we don’t see from Mitchell that often.
But since joining the Cavaliers, Mitchell has been trying to broaden his horizons and do new things for his team.
Donovan Dunking
Mitchell is known as a shooter more than anything else so seeing him dunk is something impressive, different, and exciting.
Will there be more dunks from him in the future?
It’s possible because Mitchell isn’t looking to limit his game but instead wants to expand it.
Mitchell said he’s more versatile than people give him credit for and he’s looking to prove the critics wrong and show all he’s capable of.
That includes plays like the one highlighted above – and better defense too.
In preseason interviews, Mitchell said he wanted to evolve his game in Cleveland and become a true two-way player who is good on both ends of the court.
He wants to show off his defensive skills and enhance his offensive ones too.
So, while the dunk was fun to watch, there was more to it than that.
