Before playing against the Atlanta Hawks, the Cleveland Cavaliers were on a three-game losing streak.
The organization was clearly going through a rough patch, and injuries to multiple key players didn’t help the Cavaliers one bit.
Despite being essentially handicapped due to injuries, the Cavs ended their three-game losing streak with a win against Atlanta.
After the solid 127-119 win over the Hawks, Donovan Mitchell sent a clear message to doubters of the Cavaliers about the team’s strategy moving forward via Bally Sports Cleveland on Twitter.
“We’re doing it together as a group,” Mitchell said.

Mitchell spoke like a true leader and mentioned that the only way the Cavaliers can make it through this rough patch is by sticking together.
Jarrett Allen had a similar answer to how the organization is handling the injury troubles.
It’s great to see veteran stars taking to the podium when required to cheer up the young guys on the team and Mitchell isn’t someone who cannot back up his words.
In fact, the four-time All-Star recorded 22 points, 5 rebounds, 13 assists, and 2 steals against the Atlanta Hawks.
Following the win, the Cavaliers improved their record to 14-12 as they remain the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.
Although the Cavs are just one game behind the fifth seed, it will take a real team effort for the franchise to take that spot from the Miami Heat.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are scheduled to play against the Houston Rockets and considering the Rockets are one of the best teams in the league right now, it will be a great test for the shorthanded Cavaliers.
