With an average of 18.2 points and 9.1 rebounds, Evan Mobley of the Cleveland Cavaliers is having one of his best seasons ever.
But Donovan Mitchell has a message and warning to the rest of the league: Mobley will only get better.
According to Mikey McNuggets, Mitchell made his opinion and admiration of Mobley abundantly clear on Thursday night.
“This is the worst Evan Mobley is ever going to be,” Mitchell said.

That statement should send a shiver down the spine of all other NBA players because Mobley playing at an even higher level is a very scary thought.
He is having a noteworthy season and is playing at a level that fans have been wanting for years.
Not only are his numbers robust and stronger than ever, but Mobley is performing with better decision-making and leadership skills.
He is working expertly alongside not only Mitchell but Darius Garland, fellow big man Jarrett Allen, and more.
He has been holding down the team’s frontcourt and is a critical part of their roster and plans.
Mobley has been good since joining the league in 2021 but some fans felt he was hitting a plateau and not evolving.
It seems like he flipped a switch this year and has improved his game in a number of ways.
According to Mitchell, this is just the beginning of Mobley’s growth and he will continue to get better in the years ahead.
For the time being, Mobley will keep propelling the Cavaliers forward.
He became an All-Star reserve on Thursday, which is even more proof that Mobley is on a whole other level this year.
