Donovan Mitchell might be the biggest name on the Cleveland Cavaliers’ roster but he knows their success this year is truly a team effort.
While speaking with “SportsCenter” on Sunday night, per HoodiGarland on X, Mitchell praised his teammates after their latest win.
He also had a lot of good things to say about head coach Kenny Atkinson and made it clear that the entire team is planning ahead for the upcoming postseason.
He said that when the playoffs begin, the Cavaliers will “handle business” and prove that their regular season record is not a fluke.

The Cavaliers are on a 14-game winning streak, which is just one victory shy of the record they set at the start of 2024-25.
Mitchell has been at the center of all their success.
Not only is he a talented offensive talent and has had a number of great games this year, but he has taken on the role of the team’s leader and their most definitive voice.
He spoke about the team’s chemistry and culture and how it has improved since the addition of Atkinson.
He said that every player is willing to do whatever it takes to win, including sacrificing time on the court.
The team has a very deep roster, which is one of their biggest benefits, and all of the stars will spend time on the bench if that’s what is necessary.
They have the right mentality to go far in the playoffs and their amazing track record shows they can take down any other team.
Mitchell is proud of his team and very comfortable leading them.
Now the question is how far they can go.
