Following the defeat at the hands of the Detroit Pistons, the Toronto Raptors made a comeback against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Raptors registered a 124-121 win over the Cavaliers, with Donovan Mitchell having another underwhelming night from the floor.
On top of that, Mitchell committed two lane violations during the game, which played a crucial role in the three-point defeat against the Raptors.
After the loss, Donovan Mitchell shared his views on the two lane violation calls via Bally Sports Cleveland on Twitter, and he was understandably unhappy with those calls.
“I don’t know what y’all think. I haven’t looked at it, but I feel like I’m right,” Mitchell said.

Mitchell was asked his honest thoughts on getting the second lane violation during the game, and the Cavs superstar pointed out that he believed he was in the right.
However, Mitchell did mention that he hadn’t reviewed the footage of the game, so he could very well be proven wrong.
As for Mitchell’s performance, he finished the game with 26 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, and 4 steals for the Cavaliers against the Raptors.
But Mitchell’s numbers were overshadowed by his underwhelming 8-of-21 shooting from the floor.
Following their most recent defeat, the Cavaliers are now the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference with an 18-15 record this season.
Considering they are still playing without some key players on the roster, the Cavaliers are doing well enough for the season.
After all, they are staying above the .500 mark, heading towards the NBA All-Star game in February.
The Cavaliers need to find someone to take them out of the slump, and that someone should be their All-Star guard, Donovan Mitchell.
