The Cleveland Cavaliers have the best record in the NBA.
That has been the case since the season started, and it should be pretty clear by now that it’s not a fluke.
With that in mind, WNBA legend Candace Parker asked Donovan Mitchell to share his thoughts on this historical season (via NBA on TNT).
The best record in the NBA belongs to the @cavs 📈@Candace_Parker sat down with Cleveland star @spidadmitchell to discuss the team's success and how it will translate to the Playoffs 🗣️ pic.twitter.com/Z3s1eDrg83

Mitchell admitted that it’s been quite a fun ride this season, not only for what they’ve been able to accomplish since the start of the campaign but also because of how much they’ve learned and have done to keep their foot on the gas.
Not many people thought the Cavs would be this good this season, not even after watching them win 15 games in a row.
Some stated that it was because of their more forgiving schedule.
Then again, they’ve beaten the best teams in the league night in and night out.
They’ve set a new franchise record with 15 wins of at least 20 points, including two wins by 40+.
They’ve dominated the Western Conference, and most of their losses have been quite close.
This is a team that has won blowouts and hasn’t allowed their opposition to come back, and they’ve also had some big comebacks of their own.
They can win shootouts or defensive games, and it’s pretty clear after almost 50 regular-season games that they should be considered the team to beat in the Eastern Conference – and maybe the entire league – right now.
