The Cleveland Cavaliers have a new starting small forward.
Former Atlanta Hawks F De’Andre Hunter will give Kenny Atkinson’s team a lot on both ends of the floor, and he’s looking forward to playing in front of his new fans.
The Virginia product took to social media to send the fans a message and show how hyped he is for joining the best team in the Association.

The Cavaliers needed a long wing who could play defense and knock down shots from beyond the arc, and Hunter seemed to be just what the doctor ordered.
They managed to get him without giving up any of their young players, and landing a young and versatile player of his caliber for spare parts and second-round draft capital looks like a steal.
Of course, fans will miss Georges Niang and Caris LeVert, and making big moves when you’ve fared so well is always risky.
Nevertheless, Hunter is a perfect fit for what the Cavs want to do.
The Cavs struggled against athletic wings throughout the year, but now they finally have someone who can keep them in check.
Hunter is a former fourth-overall pick and an exceptionally intelligent player.
Moreover, he has learned how to play within his role and adapt to not being the main scorer.
He’s a team-first kind of player who’s going to do all the little things it takes to win.
Injuries will always be a concern, but if he stays healthy, he can be this team’s X-factor.
