The Cleveland Cavaliers entered the 2024-25 season with more questions than answers.
On the one hand, they had more than enough talent to be a playoff team.
On the other hand, some still had doubts about whether Darius Garland could coexist with Donovan Mitchell, and the same was true for Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen.
Fast forward to today, and the Cavs have the best record in the entire NBA.
They have yet to lose a game after 11 games.
With that in mind, now that expectations may have changed, Darius Garland was asked his thoughts on what’s to come for this team (via NBA TV).

Garland claimed that this strong start to the season was nothing fluky, adding that he believes this team can keep its foot on the gas for the entire season.
Granted, the Cavs haven’t always faced the toughest competition, but you can only beat whoever is in front of you.
They’ve also beaten some playoff-caliber teams, such as the New York Knicks, Golden State Warriors, and Milwaukee Bucks (twice).
They’ve won blowouts and close games by playing hard on both ends of the floor.
There is nothing unusual about fundamentals and attitude, and the Kenny Atkinson Cavaliers excel in both areas.
Their free-flowing offense has everybody getting into a rhythm, and players always play better when engaged.
Needless to say, they’re not going to win every game this season, but they’ve proven to be much better than some experts anticipated.
