It’s been a wonderful year for the Cleveland Cavaliers and definitely for Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen.
These two players are having perhaps their best seasons yet and are working expertly together on the court.
They also have a great relationship off the floor, according to new comments from Garland.
Speaking to the press, via Camryn Justice, Garland talked about his partnership with Allen and the big man’s personality.
He said that Allen is “like the cousin that’s kind of standoffish but still in the family.”
“He brings so much energy on the floor and then he’s hilarious off the floor,” Garland said.

Allen has made a name for himself as someone who can play incredibly well while remaining soft-spoken and a bit reserved.
But when he does talk, Allen has made some very humorous comments, both to his teammates and the press.
He is the sort of quiet star who doesn’t get as much attention as more outspoken big men, but the numbers back up his greatness.
This comment from Garland shows that he has a bond with Allen that goes well beyond their chemistry on the court.
This is a team filled with people who actually like one another and enjoy being friends.
That goes a long way to improving team morale and making sure everyone is on the same page.
During the summer, some fans were upset that the roster in Cleveland didn’t change.
But keeping the same squad allows for these kinds of friendly and close relationships that pay off in more ways than one.
