The Cleveland Cavaliers lost a tough contest to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, 113-98, meaning that they’re now on a five-game losing streak.
It was hard to imagine them struggling this much when they won eight of their first nine games of the season, but they have some issues to figure out right now.
On the bright side, these two Cavs players performed well versus Giannis Antetokounmpo‘s squad, and both of these men needed a strong performance to get them going.
1. Evan Mobley
For some reason, Evan Mobley‘s numbers are a bit down from last season when he almost won the Rookie of the Year Award, an award some say he was actually robbed of.
But against Milwaukee, Mobley got to eat a bit, as he went 9-of-14 from the floor to score 20 points in 31 minutes.

He also blocked two shots on Wednesday, which is an area he has struggled in lately, as he had only rejected three shots in his previous five contests.
If the Cavs are going to not only get back on track but also become legitimate championship contenders, Mobley needs to step things up and consistently play at an All-Star level, whether it happens this season or a little bit later on.
2. Darius Garland
Darius Garland shot just 8-of-20 against the Bucks, but he went off from 3-point land, going 5-of-9 from beyond the arc to finish with 23 points.
Turnovers have been a concern for him, but he had just one turnover while also dishing off eight assists.
Garland has been off to a slow start this season, perhaps partly because he has missed some games, but he may be picking things up, as he had 51 points on white-hot shooting just one game ago.
