Playing in the NBA is ultimately the goal for every young basketball player out there.
Dreaming to play in the best basketball league in the world is one thing, but actually achieving it is entirely different.
Keeping that in mind, many NBA players who make it to the league keep a few backup options open in case they fail to achieve their dream.
With that being said, several players from the Cleveland Cavaliers’ roster recently shared what they would do if they weren’t NBA players via Bally Sports Cleveland.

A few players gave straightforward answers to the question, while others did not.
Caris LeVert claimed he would have become a teacher or doctor if not an NBA player.
On the other hand, Darius Garland kept going on and on about his career perspectives.
He mentioned he could have been a D.J., singer, dancer, broadcaster, gym teacher, or even an actor.
Jarrett Allen had one of the more interesting answers to the question, as he claimed being a secret agent would have been an alternate career.
Donovan Mitchell initially mentioned he could have been a firefighter but later changed his answer to being a color commentator.
Max Strus had a simple yet definitive answer to the question.
The former Miami Heat player revealed he would have been a math teacher/basketball coach, just like his older brother.
All things considered, these were some hilarious answers, and the clip may help some Cavaliers fans take their minds off the team’s terrible 3-5 record to start the 2023-24 NBA season.
