On Monday night, Garland posted 36 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists, making 3 of his 9 three-point attempts.
So far this season, he is putting up 20.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 6 assists per game, averaging 47.3% from the floor and 32.6% from the three-point line.
Now in his fifth season with the Cavaliers, many fans want to see Garland play in Cleveland for the rest of his career.
He is one of the most energetic and electric guards in the league and could be the face of the franchise for years to come.
Garland is having a powerful season right now and is still working well alongside Donovan Mitchell, although the team isn’t doing as well as they had hoped.
With his performance on Monday, Garland earned a spot in the Cavaliers history books and it likely won’t be the last milestone that he reaches with the team.
On Tuesday night, Garland will try to put on a scoring clinic against the Boston Celtics and get another coveted road win.
