The Cleveland Cavaliers are already dealing with more than enough absences but they could be facing yet another on Wednesday night.
Chris Fedor is reporting that Donovan Mitchell didn’t participate in shootaround because of an illness and is listed as “questionable” for the upcoming game against the Utah Jazz.
If the Cavaliers are without Mitchell, that means they will be lacking three of their biggest stars.

Fans were hoping to see Mitchell in Wednesday’s game because it would give him a chance to face off against his former team.
Instead, the Cavaliers might have to square off against the Jazz without their biggest star.
So far this season, Mitchell is averaging 27.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game on 45.3% from the field.
For the second season in a row, he is the most crucial part of the team’s lineup, even though there is a lot of speculation about him and his future with Cleveland.
There are rumors of Mitchell leaving the team, which would greatly shake up the team’s roster.
The Cavaliers are clearly in a weird position right now, waiting on the return of Evan Mobley and Darius Garland and also eager to hear anything more about Mitchell’s plans.
For the immediate future, they simply want to score some big wins.
They have won their last two games against the Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets but lost three before that.
They will face off against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, followed by the New Orleans Pelicans on Thursday, and then the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.
If Mitchell sits out of Wednesday’s game, will he be back and ready to play on Thursday?
