Some people thought the Cleveland Cavaliers were going to be silent and sit still during the upcoming NBA trade deadline due to the fact that they are the top team in their conference.
But those people may have been wrong and the Cavaliers could try to trade for another star soon.
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, via Evan Sidery, the Cavaliers are the betting favorites to acquire Cam Johnson of the Brooklyn Nets.
They have +250 odds, followed by the Oklahoma City Thunder with +280, the Indiana Pacers with +450, the Sacramento Kings with +550, and the Memphis Grizzlies with +1000.
The Cavs are already doing great, but how much better could they be with Johnson?

Johnson has become one of the most desired trade candidates over the last several weeks and the Nets are apparently interested in moving him for the right price.
He is averaging 19.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game this season, shooting 50 percent from the field and 42.6 percent from the three-point line.
He could be a major asset for the Cavaliers and might improve their already strong offensive plans.
Many people feel Johnson is the sort of player who would fit perfectly on a win-now team, which is exactly what the Cavaliers are.
Cleveland doesn’t have a whole lot to give in a trade aside from draft picks and the contract of rookie Jaylon Tyson.
However, that may be enough to make a deal happen and bring Johnson to Cleveland.
If they are able to acquire him, it’ll be just another great moment in a terrific year.
Other teams would be very jealous of the Cavaliers if they secure Johnson, especially because of the season he is currently having.
