The Cleveland Cavaliers have done plenty of winning at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
Now, they will start a new era, although in the same building.
Shortly before resuming the regular season, the team announced they would be changing the name of the arena.
The venue will no longer be known as Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
Instead, it will now be the Rocket Arena.
This comes in the wake of the building’s 30th anniversary and the team’s partnership with Rocket Entertainment Group.

Hopefully, this will continue to bring some luck to Kenny Atkinson’s team.
The Cavaliers currently hold the best home record in the entire Association, going 25-4 in 29 games in their own territory.
The Cavs are also tied for the best record in the NBA, and they’re leading the Eastern Conference with a 44-10 mark, so it’s not like they’ve done so badly away from home anyway.
This team has exceeded all expectations so far, but that doesn’t mean they’re satisfied.
Acquiring De’Andre Hunter at the trade deadline solved their main issue by giving them a switchable 3-and-D player to match up with the Boston Celtics.
They’ve played strong team defense and have dominated the glass with Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen.
On the other hand, the offense has been one of the most proficient in the game, going away from the iso-heavy offensive system from the J.B. Bickerstaff days to now getting everybody involved.
Regardless of what the venue is called, this team will have to show up and show out in the final stretch of the season.
