It feels like the Cleveland Cavaliers are one or two pieces away from being a team that is ready for the depth of the playoffs and possibly the NBA Finals.
Fans got a taste of the Cavs being back in fine form last season and they want more.
Will a veteran player they recently traded away be the key that they need?

It is being reported that Cleveland has interest in bringing back Ricky Rubio, the talented and proven Spanish guard who has been in the league since 2009.
Rubio was on the Cavs team at the start of the season but was traded away to the Indiana Pacers.
Why are the Cavs feeling like they need him back in rotation in order to achieve their potential greatness?
Rubio Coming Back
When playing for the Cavaliers, Rubio was averaging 13.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 6.6 assists.
Rubio looked like the sort of veteran who was able to lead the team, impart wisdom in the younger teammates, and make some smart calls in the heat of the game.
He was a great contrast to the young, up-and-coming players who fill most of Cleveland’s roster.
That’s probably the biggest reason why the Cavaliers want Rubio back.
Since he’s been playing so long and his output has diminished over the years, Rubio wouldn’t be very expensive.
And for that price, the player could bring some very important attributes to the team.
The Cavaliers really did impress many NBA fans this past season.
They got a lot further than people expected and they showed an awful lot of promise too.
But they were missing a little extra and are looking to beef up their roster in some small but important ways.
They feel that Rubio is just what they need – and they may be right.
