If you were watching the Cleveland Cavaliers play in the NBA Summer League on Wednesday night then you saw an awful lot.
You saw the team lose, there is no denying that.
But you also saw new rookie Ochai Agbaji creating some serious noise on the court.

Agbaji put up 24 points in the SL game which meant that Wednesday’s game was his best showing yet and the first chance that fans got to really see the young man’s potential.
As you can expect, fans of the Cavs were more than excited about Agbaji’s performance and all that it could mean for the future of the team.
Agbaji’s Awesome Evening
Fans of the team have been studying and watching Agbaji since he first got picked in last month’s draft.
He has serious potential but people were waiting to see it convert into a grand point total, as it did on Wednesday night.
Ochai Agbaji’s third Summer League game was his best, finishing with 24 points, three rebounds, one assist, and three steals (7/13 from the field, 4/8 from three).
It’s pretty evident what the Cavs want him to focus on this summer.

This was obviously the performance of a player who has been listening to his coaching staff, working hard on his game, and really setting his sights on his goals.
Man Ochai Agbaji’s first three shots last night…

2) movement 3 coming off a pin down, drifting right

Agbaji showed a lot of perseverance in Wednesday’s game and overcame some tough defense on behalf of the Charlotte Hornets.
Despite the pressing from his opponents, Agbaji was able to overcome and land some pretty tricky shots.
That’s a good sign and an indication that his shooting abilities may only grow before the regular season kicks off.

Perhaps the best news is that Cavaliers seem to be growing confident in Agbaji.
They posted a tweet after the game celebrating the rookie and his great performance.
Both fans and the team personnel are taking note.
