The Cleveland Cavaliers were one of the hottest teams in the NBA before the All-Star break, as they had an 18-2 record in their last 20 games.
Evidently, the Cavaliers climbed to the second seed in the Eastern Conference behind their phenomenal record.
Moreover, the Cavs were considered legitimate contenders to win the 2024 NBA Championship.
But following the NBA All-Star break, the Cleveland Cavaliers have found themselves in a slump after two consecutive losses against the Orlando Magic and Philadelphia 76ers.
Speaking of the Cavs vs. 76ers matchup, Caris LeVert struggled to play well throughout the game and made an honest admission about his performance via Cavaliers Nation on Twitter.
“Sometimes it’s like that. Long season. Different lineups and things like that. Just try not to put too much on it and get ready for the next game,” LeVert said.

Caris LeVert has played consistently for the Cavaliers so far this season, as he has averaged 14.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game for the team.
However, LeVert is currently going through a slump where he has struggled to shoot well from the floor.
To put things into perspective, LeVert shot an underwhelming 1-of-11 from the floor against the 76ers.
LeVert’s abysmal shooting night undoubtedly played a crucial role in the Cavaliers’ 104-97 loss.
Despite the poor performance, the 29-year-old guard is optimistic about the future of the Cavaliers.
LeVert defended his poor shooting night by claiming he liked the looks, but sometimes, there is nothing he can do about missing the shooter’s touch.
The Cavaliers remain the second seed in the Eastern Conference with a 36-19 record, and LeVert is certain that the organization will turn things around sooner rather than later.
