The Cleveland Cavaliers want to get to the next level.
They have already proven that they can compete with the best of them in the regular season, but they still need something to get over the hump in the playoffs.
That’s why Bruce Drennan wants to see LeBron James go back home.
With that in mind, he put together a wild trade idea to bring the greatest player in franchise history back to his hometown.
In the latest edition of his show, he argued that the Cavs should consider sending away Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland, and De’Andre Hunter to make room for James.
“You could bring Lebron and his son Bronny here to Cleveland,” Drennan said.

However, they would also have to bring in his son, Bronny, as a provision.
As much as the Cavs should always be thankful to James, that simply doesn’t make any sense for the organization, not now or in the future.
James admitted that his wife, Savannah, wants him to retire, and even if that isn’t the case, he’s not getting any younger.
His son, Bronny, might turn out to be a solid rotation player, but he’s not quite there yet.
Additionally, despite Garland and Allen’s struggles and exposure in the playoffs, they’re younger, and the Cavs would struggle to find a suitable replacement for Allen.
James is one of the best players of all time, and every team would be lucky to have him.
But unless he’s a free agent, it doesn’t make sense for the Cavs to throw it all away for a one-year rental.
