The entire world rang in the new year on January 1, including members of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
2023 promises to be a big year for the Cavs, who are performing better than they have in many seasons.
There are even some who think a Finals appearance might be in the cards for them.
Many fans are eager to see what happens for the team in the next few months, especially regarding player Ricky Rubio.
Rubio, who hasn’t played a game yet this season as he recovers from injury, is supposedly going to be back in early 2023.
… bye bye 2022, thank you for the lessons. 2023, Im coming for you with full battery. Be ready. Never too high, never too low. Love.

The veteran NBA star hopped on Twitter to say “bye bye” to 2022 and tell the new year that he’s “coming for you with full battery.”
This is exactly what fans of the Cavs were hoping to hear.
The celebrated guard has been missed terribly by the Cavaliers and he can only make them better and raise their chances.
Rubio has been bounced around the league a bit over the last year.
He was playing for the Cavaliers last season, and fitting in quite well, but was sent to the Indiana Pacers following a season-ending injury.
However, during the offseason, Rubio rejoined the Cavs and signed a three-year, $18 million contract as an unrestricted free agent.
Rubio is now 32 years old so some people might wonder what sort of value he can bring to such a young team.
His minutes will be limited and he will certainly be a bench player but his basketball IQ and expertise and knowledge of how to play are crucial and will be a major help to the team.
Once healthy, he will impart great wisdom and insight to the youth of the team and make their 2023 even better.
