The Cleveland Cavaliers are currently the best team in the Eastern Conference and the whole NBA.
Their 13-0 record is historic and suggests they could be the greatest squad in the league all season long.
But some people fear they are just having a great start and will fall apart or they won’t sustain this sort of success over multiple seasons.
Emmett Golden doesn’t buy that.
Speaking to ESPN Cleveland, Golden said the Cavaliers have been “on the verge” for several years and are finally making it work.
He said the team is “not a fluke” and expects them to be one of the best in their conference for years.

Golden suggested that the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks will sit alongside the Cavaliers as the face of the East for the foreseeable future.
He also said fans should watch out for the Orlando Magic, who could continue to improve and compete at a high level.
Even with all their success, some people still doubt the Cavaliers.
That is because they don’t have any proven postseason success over the last few years.
In fact, they have been a very inconsistent and troubled team in the playoffs.
Until they can break that habit, people will continue to doubt and worry.
But this tremendous start to the season can’t be denied or doubted and everyone agrees it’s been a sensational few weeks for the Cavaliers.
The team knows some critics believe this is a fluke and it won’t last.
They are ready to prove them wrong and fans are excited to see them do it.
