The Cleveland Cavaliers have been a driving force in the NBA this season.
However, even though they had the best record in the league for a big stretch, some still have doubts about them.
That’s why Ken Carman and Anthony Lima believe the table is set for Darius Garland to prove the doubters wrong once and for all.
Talking on 92.3 The Fan, the renowned pundits stated that Garland has an opportunity to step up and turn the narrative around about him.
"He has the opportunity to make all those questions go away with a great playoff run."

Then, they pointed out that he’s been great in the clutch this season.
He has also done fairly decently against more physical and bigger players.
Then again, it will all come down to whether he can keep his foot on the gas when it actually counts.
While Garland’s talent is undeniable, he’s had a long and well-documented history of shortcomings in big moments and the playoffs.
This season could be crucial to making or breaking that narrative, perhaps for the remainder of his career.
He’s drawn a reputation for struggling in the clutch and being a little soft against physical defenders, and there are more than enough reasons to be concerned about that in the postseason when the referees allow the players to play through contact and don’t give them as many calls.
Still, this team should’ve earned the benefit of the doubt by now.
Garland has mostly been great this season, and there’s no reason to believe that’s not going to continue being the case in a seven-game series.
