It’s only been a few weeks, but chatter around the Cleveland Cavaliers has grown.
Following their elimination from the playoffs, there were rumors about what’s next for the team.
Who will stay and who will go?
A recent report stated that the Cavs are open to the idea of trading Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, or both.
Speaking on “The Big Factor,” Nick Pedone didn’t sound opposed to the idea because he feels both stars completely disappear in the playoffs.
“Now, more than ever, the Cavs would at least be willing to entertain conversations surrounding Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen. He views Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley as kind of the untouchables, but if there could be offers made, it would be for DG and Jarrett Allen. Those two guys are the two guys of the Core Four that go Houdini come the postseason,” Pedone said.

Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley are apparently “untouchable,” but Garland and Allen could be trade assets the Cavaliers are willing to use.
And they might not be the only ones.
Last summer, the front office chose to keep the roster intact and instead focused on finding a new head coach.
Kenny Atkinson was a blessing for the Cavaliers this year, but the idea of the roster not changing seems unlikely this time.
With that being said, there is no guarantee that the changes will be massive.
The organization could just make minor changes, perhaps moving second-unit stars instead of starters.
But whispers and speculation are growing, and that means that something is likely to happen.
We don’t know who is leaving and who is coming in their place, but the Cavaliers might look different when 2025-26 begins.
