The NBA playoffs are getting closer and it will soon be time for the Cleveland Cavaliers to prove their regular-season success can translate into postseason greatness.
But do the Cavs need to take things up another level and reach new heights?
Speaking on 92.3 The Fan, Anthony Lima asked a question on the minds of many Cavaliers fans: does this team need to get tougher?
“This Cavs team has been so dominant and then they just add De’Andre Hunter…do they need to start showing a different kind of toughness?” Lima said.

Lima said he hasn’t seen postseason performances that give him much hope but he still believes the team can shift to the next gear and push themselves harder this season.
The biggest concern that Cavaliers fans have right now is that this squad is a great regular-season team but one that flounders in the playoffs.
We have seen it before, multiple times.
It would be such a shame if they secure the best record in the Eastern Conference only to fall apart when the postseason kicks off.
At this point, a total collapse would be very surprising.
But there is something to be said about the Cavaliers digging deeper right now and preparing for what may be a very long playoff run.
They should start getting into the mindset and readying themselves for what’s ahead.
What does this toughness that Lima is talking about look like?
That’s not entirely clear but he is afraid they don’t have the sort of deep, unshakeable toughness that will get them far.
It is time for the Cavaliers to show what they are really made of.
