What is the key ingredient that’s made the Cleveland Cavaliers so great this season?
Is it their new coach, healthier players, or stronger chemistry?
Speaking on “Full Court Cleveland”, Sam Amico spoke about the team’s bench and how much better it’s gotten this season.
He said several second unit players are having “good stands and hitting shots.”
“Everbody is playing with a great deal of confidence and renewed energy from last season,” Amico said about the bench stars who are helping the Cavaliers shine.

Amico called out athletes like Sam Merrill, Georges Niang, Isaac Okoro, and others.
They have been playing spectacularly, which allows the Cavaliers to stay competitive for all 48 minutes of a game.
And when starters like Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland need some time on the bench, these are the players who are stepping up and helping the team remain consistent.
Amico said they are all performing with more confidence, which is impossible to deny.
Perhaps that’s the influence of their new head coach, Kenny Atkinson.
It’s not clear what he has said or done but the Cavaliers have a lot more spirit than they did before and they look like a radically transformed team with more energy, more drive, and a lot more believe in their abilities.
Fans have noted that the team feels different this season, which is a major reason why they’re doing so well.
The Cavaliers have spent a long time building their roster and have paid special attention to their depth.
A lot of people may talk about Mitchell, Garland, Jarrett Allen, and others, but the bench players are the backbone that keeps this team so strong.
