The Cleveland Cavaliers have twice moved on from LeBron James.
The team just had its best season without him, and they have a competitive group that can compete for years to come.
That’s why several people have shut down the rumors and the thought of potentially bringing back James.
Analyst Ryan Tyler doesn’t agree with them.
Tyler admitted that even though some Cavs fans might not want James, it would be quite fun to have him back in Cleveland.
“Think about it. I understand even if it’s not the most win-suited move, most calculated move to get you to over that hump, how fun would it be to have LeBron back in Cleveland? Say what you want, I know people don’t like him, but how fun would that be?” Tyler said, via the “Matt Fontana Show.”

It would certainly be fun, and it could be the most fitting way for James to go full circle and finish his career.
Then again, the ball has always been in his court to do so.
James is a billionaire who has won everything in the NBA and doesn’t have anything else to prove at this point.
If he wanted to return to Cleveland, he could opt out of his contract and sign a veteran’s minimum deal with the Cavs.
Instead, he’s likely to get another two-year deal and an extra $100 million from the Los Angeles Lakers.
He’s earned that right, and that shouldn’t be a subject of criticism at this point.
In addition, the Cavs have no real incentive to break the bank and gift-wrap the Lakers valuable assets to acquire an aging James at the end of his career.
The door should always be open, just not under those terms.
