The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to have the best record in the NBA but that doesn’t mean they will win a lot in the playoffs.
In fact, NBA history is filled with teams that thrived in the regular season and then fell apart on the way to a championship.
But speaking on ESPN Cleveland, Tony Rizzo said he believes the Cavs have what it takes to stop their most opposing opponents in the East.
“I truly believe the Cavs can beat the Celtics in a 7 game series,” Rizzo said.
After this weekend, plenty of Cleveland fans agree with Rizzo.

The Cavaliers were able to overcome a massive deficit on February 28 and beat the Boston Celtics 123-116.
Their season series now stands even at 2-2, but this last game was a massive statement.
That’s because the Cavaliers came back after being down by a lot in the opening quarter and beat the Celtics in Boston.
Head coach Kenny Atkinson and his team were able to outsmart, and then outplay, their biggest foes in the East.
They will not face them again in the regular season so the next time these two teams square off might be in the playoffs.
Beating a team in a seven-game series is never easy because the format allows squads to figure things out, perfect their approach, and rebound after losses.
But the Cavaliers have eased the fears of many fans who are worried that the Celtics will be able to get the best of them in the postseason.
Because of this latest game, more people believe the Cavaliers can figure out the Celtics and come out on top.
