LeBron James is the greatest player in the history of the Cleveland Cavaliers and one of the best players in NBA history.
However, as much as he’s earned praise, the media has also played a big part in his rise to the top.
That’s why Tony Rizzo took offense to James’s recent jab at Brian Windhorst.
Talking on his show on ESPN Cleveland, Rizzo ripped James for taking an uncalled-for shot at someone who has been nothing but respectful and fair to him throughout the course of his career.

He also pointed out that they even attended the same high school, wondering why on Earth James would start calling him out.
James claimed that Windhorst once said they were best friends, and there’s no record of that, just like Rizzo pointed out.
And while Windhorst also owes James a lot for his career because he started covering him in high school, it’s not like he didn’t work hard to push his stories and get everybody to know James.
For years, James’ critics have stated that ESPN has protected him and lifted him up.
Now, he’s picked an uncalled-for fight with two of their main personalities.
That’s not the kind of war you want to get tangled up in.
Even so, Windhorst is fair and a class act, and we wouldn’t expect him to add more fuel to the fire by getting into some kind of back-and-forth with James.
