The Cleveland Cavaliers are surprising a lot of people right now.
While they were expected to be a top-five team in the Eastern Conference, few predicted they would win their first nine games of the season.
That’s why, with all that’s going on with the Cleveland Browns, ESPN radio host Aaron Goldhammer wanted people to instead show some love for the basketball team.
On ESPN Cleveland, he claimed that the Cavs look poised for a special season.

He pointed out that this is the best start to a season in franchise history and added that they haven’t had many close games, either.
Goldhammer also credited Kenny Atkinson as becoming the first coach to start a season 9-0 with a new team.
Of course, he knows this team is due for some regression at some point, as he doesn’t think they’ll be like the 72-10 Chicago Bulls.
Even so, he thinks the fans need to enjoy and pay attention to what they’re doing, as they look like a legitimate contender right now.
The Cavaliers have the best record in the NBA.
Never, not even with LeBron James at the helm, has the franchise gone 9-0 to start a season.
They’ve also beaten some outstanding teams, coming from behind or holding them down late games to secure wins.
With everything the fans have been through with the Browns this season, the Cavaliers should be a breath of fresh air for the area.
