The Cleveland Cavaliers will attempt to win their 15th game in a row on Tuesday night when they face off against the Brooklyn Nets.
That would match the amazing streak that started their season and give fans even more reason to be excited as the postseason approaches.
The Cavaliers have indeed been on a roll lately and Sam Amico recently spoke about why.
Talking on “Full Court Cleveland,” Amico said it’s the defense that has been making all this success possible.
“Their offense is gonna be fine, there’s never gonna be a problem with this team scoring points. But, the defense is a big reason they’ve been able to extend this winning streak,” Amico said.

Like everyone else, Amico knows that the Cavaliers are one of the best offensive teams in the NBA.
They are always going to score a lot and never have a problem with that.
In fact, over the last 14 games, they have scored more than 110 points every single time, something that is rarely done by any team.
But the defense has been improved recently too and that is making all the difference.
Amico gave a special shout-out to De’Andre Hunter, who has averaged 14.3 points and 4.3 rebounds since joining the team.
Amico said his defensive skills are helping the Cavaliers, which is something the team had in mind when they acquired him last month.
But it’s not just Hunter who has been improving the defense, because the entire team’s defensive schemes have been praised all season.
Teams cannot win games without strong offense and defense, and that is exactly what the Cavaliers have.
