The Cleveland Cavaliers have three All-Stars this season.
Truth be told, they could’ve and should’ve had four.
At least, it’s nice to know that Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, and Evan Mobley got some recognition for their efforts.
When it comes to Mobley, this will be his first All-Star nod, and he’s been one of the most improved players in the league this season.
That’s why NBA analyst Jason Lloyd tipped his hat to him.
Talking on the “Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show,” Lloyd praised Mobley for embracing the challenge of being great.

He claimed that the Cavs gave him a max contract before he started playing like a max-caliber player because they always thought he had the potential to be this kind of player.
Mobley was always considered to be this team’s X-factor.
He could make or break this team, and so far, it seems like that was actually the case.
While his numbers aren’t drastically better from his previous seasons, his play has notoriously improved.
He’s using his left hand to drive and finish, and he’s finally added and developed some touch to his outside shot.
We already knew what he was capable of as a disruptive defender, and he’s improved his defensive skills a couple of notches this season.
On top of being a lockdown defender in the restricted area, he’s also an absolute pest on the perimeter.
The best part is that he will only continue to improve over time.
