The Cleveland Cavaliers are the team to beat in the NBA right now.
They’ve only lost four games all year, and at this point in the season, it’s hard to say that this is a fluke.
That’s why the national media has finally started giving the team it’s flowers.
Following the big win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, ESPN pundit Stephen A. Smith had no choice but to tip his hat to Kenny Atkinson’s team.

When asked whether the Cavaliers could win the whole thing, Smith admitted that he loved their chances.
While he had predicted the New York Knicks or Boston Celtics would come out of the Eastern Conference, Smith had to say that, being objective, the Cavs looked like the best team at the moment.
The Cavaliers are currently riding a league-best eleven-game winning streak.
They have only lost one game at home all year and have yet to lose a game against Western Conference foes.
They’ve beaten all kinds of teams and in all kinds of ways.
They can win the shootouts or the physical, old-school games.
While they could and should add some pieces at the trade deadline, especially to bolster their wing defense, their current strategy is working perfectly.
It’s still way too early to tell, and there’s plenty of basketball to be played this season.
Right now, however, it’s hard to think of a team in better shape than the 2024-25 Cleveland Cavaliers.
