The Cleveland Cavaliers are on a roll right now.
Kenny Atkinson’s team has yet to lose a single game this season.
Some claim that their 14-game winning streak is a fluke, as they haven’t faced good teams yet, and the good teams they’ve faced have been struggling to start the season.
However, even if that were the case, whenever a team wins 14 games in a row, the confidence and vibes in the locker room have to be great, giving them a chance to win night in and night out.
Notably, former Cavs guard Booby Gibson credits Donovan Mitchell for that.
In the latest edition of “Full Court Cleveland,” Gibson claimed that Mitchell’s buy-in and adoption of Kenny Atkinson and his system have made the biggest difference for this team this season.
Booby says that Donovan Mitchell buying into Kenny Atkinson's system has been the biggest reason for the Cavs' success. #LetEmKnow

He argues that the other players usually follow his lead whenever the best player buys in and wants to win.
Mitchell has always been about being willing and known for being a vocal leader who leads by example.
The Cavaliers weren’t widely considered an NBA championship contender, but they have the best record in the Association so far.
This team had been knocking on the door of contention for years, and while they had the talent and potential to take another step forward, they didn’t seem confident or aggressive enough to do so.
That definitely doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.
