The Cleveland Cavaliers will look to keep their winning streak going on Sunday.
They will meet the Charlotte Hornets in a game that could take their historic start to 15 wins.
However, Kenny Atkinson is seeing the bigger picture and choosing to give one of his key guys a breather.
As reported by Evan Dammarell on X, the Cavaliers will rest Donovan Mitchell on Sunday.
Evan Mobley, who’s currently dealing with an illness, is currently listed as probable.
Max Strus, Sam Merrill, and Emoni Bates will all be out as they continue to nurse injuries.

Of course, not having your best scorer out there jeopardizes your chances of keeping the winning streak alive.
On the other hand, the rest of the team has also fared quite well to start the season, with Darius Garland taking a giant leap forward.
Mitchell is averaging almost 25 points and just over four assists per game on 47% from the floor and 42% from beyond the arc.
In his absence, we can expect Garland to handle the bulk of the offense, with Ty Jerome either sliding into the starting lineup or getting an extended run off the bench.
Mitchell suffered a knee injury last season, so it makes sense that the team wants to keep him under wraps occasionally to avoid overworking him.
Also, with the Hornets on the back end of a back-to-back and the Boston Celtics on deck, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to rest him.
