There are so many great things going on with the Cleveland Cavaliers that it’s hard to ensure every player gets their deserved praise.
Some people might be paying more attention to Donovan Mitchell or Evan Mobley but Darius Garland’s great season cannot be ignored.
According to Cavs Notes on X, Garland has now reached 20+ points on eight occasions this season, including during four of the last five games.

Garland is putting up 21.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 6.6 assists in 2024-25, shooting 53.1 percent from the field and 45.8 percent from the three-point line.
On Friday night, Garland was at it again, scoring 29 points, three rebounds, and nine assists.
Statistically, this is coming close to the best season of Garland’s career but the importance of 2024-25 goes beyond the raw numbers.
One of the most impressive things about this year’s Cavaliers is the energy they are playing with.
They are feeling good about themselves and obviously know the potential they have.
Fans can feel that confidence, and the players are feeding on the support they are receiving.
The rest of the league has been put on notice and they also understand what they are dealing with with the Cavaliers.
They know that as great as Garland is, he is just one of the multiple tools the team has to achieve victory.
Basically, the entire roster is a threat at all times and that is what makes them so hard to beat.
There have been concerns about Garland reaching his potential over the last few years.
This season, there is no doubt he’s doing just that.
