Right now, the Cleveland Cavaliers are the best team in the NBA and hold a stellar 12-0 record.
Fans are wondering how long this win streak can continue and what the end of the season holds for the Cavs.
Speaking on “First Take”, Kendrick Perkins said there is a high probability of the Cavaliers facing the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.
He said head coach Kenny Atkinson has unlocked the team’s potential and everything is working like it should.
“This team is the real deal. They check all boxes,” Perkins stated.

Perkins said that there were a lot of questions about the Cavaliers last season.
People wondered if the combination of Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley could work for Cleveland’s frontcourt.
This season, those two are performing excellently together.
The same is true for Darius Garland and Donovan Mitchell, who are running one of the most exciting backcourts in the NBA right now.
Those duos, along with some veteran help off the bench, are making the Cavaliers seem unstoppable.
There are several Eastern Conference teams struggling right now, including the Milwaukee Bucks who are in very bad shape.
The New York Knicks are still fierce but they aren’t performing as well as expected, leaving the Celtics and Cavaliers as the two best teams in their conference.
Right now, everyone can agree that these squads have the best chance of going all the way to the Eastern Conference Finals.
But a lot can change in the months ahead and the competition will only get tougher.
