To say the Cleveland Cavaliers have gotten off to a wonderful start this season would be a big understatement because they are currently 8-0 and showing no signs of slowing down.
There are numerous players putting up great effort and numbers for the Cavaliers but the partnership of Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland looks more special than ever before.
In fact, some people think they are the greatest pair in the NBA right now.
Speaking on “Run It Back”, via NBACentral, Lou Williams said Garland and Mitchell are the best duo in the NBA.
That is high praise because there are many wonderful duos in the league right now but it’s hard to argue against Williams.

Mitchell is producing 23.1 points and 4.3 assists per game so far this season.
As for Garland, he is putting up 20.5 points and 6.5 assists.
Seeing these two work so well together is a fantastic thing, and it’s also somewhat surprising.
When Mitchell joined the Cavaliers, there were a lot of questions about what that meant for Garland.
Would there be enough room for both of them to flourish or would Garland be pushed to the side?
They worked well together last season but injuries got in the way of letting the Cavaliers really reach their potential.
So far this season, everyone is healthy and it’s giving fans a chance to see what the Cavaliers can truly be.
The duo of Mitchell and Garland have created one of the best backcourts in the league and things haven’t looked this good for the Cavaliers in years.
